i think most parents follow this good cop / bad cop senario with their children.. i think my wife is tooo gentle/lenient with the children (2boys 2& 3yo) and sometimes they will not listen to her.. then it's up to me to disipline...

akd_71 i do agree that discipline should not fall on one parent only. we also practice gentle spanking @ timeout chair.. it's working. also i make a point of saying i love them afterwards.. so far so good..

sometimes i can't help it.. when they ask question that is way beyond their years, how do suppose to explain things to them? when they do not do something you ask them - you make them afaid by telling scary story of what will...

my 2nd son was born 2 year ago, he cried everyday for about 3 months after birth without apparent reasons.. we have consulted doctors/specialists to find out what's wrong? The answer?... nothing wrong with my sons. It was...

akd_71 looking back, yes it pretty stupid of me (with capital S) not to properly boiled the water. we used hot water from mineral water machine to make my son's milk. my first son(now 3yo) have no problem with it actually, that's why we did not suspect anything....
