Last night I downloaded the new OS from windiws, still in beta. There are some glitches, but it seem better and faster than Vista. Have anyone started testing it yet?

alex7025 I installed it on my average laptop and it is seems definitely faster. I started with Vista, and as you say I never have any problem with it, I learned fast, it is fairly intuitive. With this beta IE8 seems more secure, but it doesn't want to work properly...

alex7025 The light to follow I think should be your own. You see if you let others light your path, you end up in the wrong place. I know is very cynical and sefish and sad, but that's how i feel

alex7025 spot on. I feel the same, after seven years in one place I felt a change was in order, and with my luck I got stuck in the crunch. If I had stayed put I would not be on mylot. Thankfully my boss call me yesterday and there is a good chance I get my job back....

alex7025 regarding the anti virus Avast is a good choice. I did try it but if I am not mistaken it clashed wiyh some other programme. Personally I use AVG. It is easy to use and in two years I have find it very reliable. Alex

alex7025 This is what I do when installing games on my nokia. It normally works. First get to the page where you get the games, then click download. At this point a window should open and ask you where you want to save it, normaaly desktop or downloads folder in your...
