mssnow Probably just let your voice rest for a while. I'm sure it will be back eventually. I have never heard of anyone losing their voice for no reason. You weren't yelling alot or something were you?

rogen_andrei I'm sorry to hear about that, aprilgrl. I hope you'll feel better soon. Well, am not really sure if these would work for you, but you can try ginger tea or warm lemon juice. My mom prepares these for us if we feel like we're having problems with our voice....

raqbelluk Hi , the best remedy that has worked for me is to gargle with Sage . If you can get hold of fresh Sage leaves and make an infusion with boiled water , leave to soak for a while , and gargle when cooled down , this might help !!!! Good luck

emeraldisle Oh no that has to be horrible for you. If you are going to wait to go to the doctor's I'd suggest gargling with the warm salt water. Also drinking camomille tea with honey (or any tea with honey) is good for the throat. The warmth helps and the honey soothes....

jerryn Sorry to hear you've lost your voice. I know how frustrating that can be. I recently lost my voice after having surgery and I'm just starting to sound like myself after a month. Try sipping lemon juice over crushed ice. This will help to start you on your way...
