What part of Stephen King's novel "The Shining" scared you the most? For me it was the hedge animals... The way they seemed to move when they weren't looking and when they did look back the hedge animals had already changed...

arkay0 A lot of Stephen King's movies didn't do justice to his books. "The Shining" was an exception, I think mostly to do with the performance of Jack Nichelson. I found the book so full of scary, eerie, troublesome situations that I would find it almost impossible...
