how to convert old VHS home movies to DVD?

I have some precious home movies I took in the 90's. Does anyone know how I can convert them? One of my tapes is already wearing thin.

armyofme There are machines that you can buy to do it. Another way you can do it, is buy a PVR (personal video recorder). Play the tape on the TV, and record it with the PVR onto a DVD.
