How to keep them fat

I have a naughty hamster that bite the case,jump and run restlessly almost all day long.So if I want to make it a little fatter,what can I do?Should I feed it with cheese?

ashley530 I'm glad that he get well again.I keep two hampsters for over a year,and that haven't to mine before.I was told that the damp enviroment may cause this situation,it's better to keep the cage dry and well ventilated.
