Slope of a line...

Why is the slope of the line represented as "m"? please help me... This is our assignment.

bee0tch44 according to this link, http://mathforum.org/dr.math/faq/faq.terms.html no one really knows where they got the "m". it might mean "monter" a French term which means to climb. or maybe it can stand for "modulus of slope".

You have a friend and you realize that you love her already. But unfortunately, she loves another person. And that other person is one of your friends. What will you do?

bee0tch44 Well, Ketty thats a tough one. If your saying that you really love her and you're sure she loves someone else then you should be able to stand back and let her be happy with the other guy. Be her friend. She'll thank you more for that.
