Burning films to disc

Hi fellow lotters. I used to use Nero for burning movies to disc but I'd like a change as I'm sure there is better software to use. I am looking for a free one preferably? What software do you use and why?

Forgotten password on Laptop

A friend of mine has forgotten the password to access their laptop! I suggested removing the battery for 24 hours to see if that worked but to no avail. Anybody got any suggestions?
