What the heck is a sortie?

OK what is it, what does it do & how on earth do I edit it? I click edit & nothing happens... can you tell I am new.

blackcat2 I am new also and best I can tell is a sortie is a container for content on your profile page. As for how to edit it I don't know. I see the edit link and I can click it but nothing happens for me either.

I recently had a cat pass away that I watched come into my life. From minute one I loved him. Now he has passed and while we had many years I am having a hard time coming to grips with also watching him leave my life. Any thoughts...

blackcat2 Thank you and thanks to all for the great comments. I do have other cats... I have his twin brother and his sister also. As well as a few other cats... I guess I wasn't clear but I was too busy crying as I typed up my opening message. By watching him come...

Can't edit sorties?

I have followed the instructions but I can't edit my sorties? I have IE6.

blackcat2 Whoops check that... I see the edit link now which I didn't see before but now if I click it it doesn't do anything... *sigh* Well maybe when I get back on later it will be working. =)

I have followed the instructions but I can't edit my sorties? I have IE6.

blackcat2 I did that several times over the last two days but it wasn't working. However now it is so I can edit and move stuff around later tonight. =)

blackcat2 Well I just realized the 'edit' link shows up on the Home page and I can edit the sortie content there but I still can't get the 'edit' link to show up in the edit profile area so I can add things to my profile sorties...

blackcat2 I did all that but the "edit" does not appear. That is the problem. =) Thanks for the welcome.
