An Eighth HP?

Okay, i just thought to myself...maybe JK will release an eighth book, just to surprise us...im not sure...it might happen, but probably wont, what do you guys think..and what would be your thoughts if it did happen

BlackRose76 J.K. Rowling has said that she doesn't plan to do any more books about Harry Potter or any of the other main Hogwarts characters. She didn't rule out more books about Hogwarts, though, so maybe we'll see something about it in the future. Of course, if my...

An eighth Harry Potter book?

I heard rumours (on Mylot too!) that there will be an eighth HP book. I thought JKR was content with finishing this one off. Or will she write Harry's Auror training too? :p

BlackRose76 I don't think so. I recently read that she will not continue the Potter series after the kids graduate from Hogwarts, nor will she write any prequels as all the back story will be complete with the final book.

Why do people do this? What is the purpose of it? Does a person gain "points" or "gold stars" on some unseen scorecard for each person he can enlist into his own belief system? Why do some religions try to do this when others...

BlackRose76 I used to be a born-again Christian. The reason we believed we had to convert people to our beliefs was that if they didn't believe in Jesus Christ as their saviour, they would go to Hell. So we had to try to show them 'the truth' because their immortal souls...
