Seeing the big snowstorm that socked the midwest the last couple of days, has prompted me to ask what the worst storm you can remember is. For me there were a couple of thunderstorms where the sky just turned these ugly colors....

blubbla That reminds of a very bad ice storm we had one spring. We lost power on a Tuesday night and it wasn't restored until Saturday morning. I remember my mom and I played cards and Monopoly while we were cooped up.

blubbla Being from the midwest, I've been though many storms with activity that can result in a tornado. It always makes me feel uneasy.

For me, the Chicago Cubs are my favorite team, even as bad as they can be. I remember my grandpa always watching them and I got hooked then. Name your team and how you started following them.

blubbla It's because that's how I was brought up... and I want my team to win. I didn't jump ship on the Bulls when they tanked so bad, though I didn't pay as much attention.

the call of the sea is stronger for me. i love the beach! i could listen to the sound of waves crashing all day. sea air is cleansing and therepeutic. i feel renewed after a weekend at the beach. a vacation in a mountain resort...
