goldfish pellets or flakes?

hello!i have a small rep cap oranda, should i feed him goldfish pellet or flakes? i tried to feed him flakes but he eats it very slowly... he chews a flake for like a minute or so... is pellets any better?thanks!

blueskater thanks for that response! i've actually tried it but the fish can't see the food. hahah! i'll definitely try that again though.. tnx
