Ryan Reid @Jdaw1985 Sorry i didn't get back to this comment in time. Today however, he is doing great. Tomorrow we get to go home! But then starts a 3-4 day a week therapy program. So it's a long road ahead, but he should be much better off for it in the end.

Ryan Reid He seems to be recovering fast. But the process of getting him back to walking and beyond is a long term thing. But he's moving along about as well as could be expected so far.

Ryan Reid Thank you! The therapy is really the biggest part of this operation. He'll basically be learning to walk all over again. But the doctors and therapists at The University of Michigan Hospital are amazing, i have no doubt he will do great with their help.

Ryan Reid @xFiacre I can't even imagine a cardiac surgery. While this procedure was terrifying, it is NOTHING compared to something in the heart, brain, etc. You certainly have my respect just for living through something like that. Let alone any other difficulties that...

Ryan Reid Thank you. The neurosurgeon that preformed the surgery said he has high hopes for his outcome. He's done scores of these surgeries and said that Noah was basically the perfect candidate for a good outcome. It all comes down to his therapy from here on out.

Ryan Reid Nope, not yet. All of this stuff will be indoors for another month and then some. I'll be starting most of my seeds real soon and then planting them outside near the end of May.

Ryan Reid @kaka135 My son has really enjoyed the process so far. He likes watching the plants grow and hopefully he'll enjoy it more once we're outside doing it. Best of luck if you decide to start a garden this year, and also with the baby!
