I have an acer laptop that belonged to my friends son. Unfortunately he doesn't remember the password so when it powers up his name is there and it asks for the password...which I don't have. Is there anyway I can get into it and...

bravo211 there are ways to do this, here is one http://www.ilikemall.com/guide/reset-windows-7-password.html You will need another pc to download the software and to create a bootable disk.
