Ever Been to Paris?

Has anyone ever been to Paris and if so, what do you recommend to sightsee besides the Eiffel Tower, The Seine, The Louvre etc... Anyone kind of go to the local hangouts, and just venture off to see non-tourist spots?

bublz31 Yes I have and I wasn't impressed ... I thought it was dirty and the people weren't too friendly (if you don't speak frenche esp) - this was a few years ago though, so hopefully it has changed by now!

Do you get real Christmas trees or fake ones?

When I lived with my father we always got fake ones, but now that I live on my own I'll be getting a real tree.

bublz31 We stopped getting real trees when we had babies, because of the needles - well the kids arent babies no more but we havent gone back to getting a real tree either? I guess its just habit now just to pull the fake tree out of the closet!! I do miss the real...

bublz31 A lottery/scratch off ticket - even if they have money, people still love to WIN free money! Depending on who it is for (male/female) a day at the sauna or a day at a gym. Or a gift certifate to a really nice restaurant? Good wine ... mmm, I could go on and...

bublz31 Mmm, thats hard - I was raised by my Mum, who went through so much as a single Mum - so I have far more respect and admiration for my Mum and I am closer to her - but I love them both. Thats a hard question

bublz31 I used to use Pantene . but then a hairdress told me not to use it anymore because it had animal fat in it (don't know if this is true or not?!) but now I use Fructis.

In my house, I do most of the cooking. My husband sometimes makes breakfast but that's about all! He doesn't even do the dishes!

bublz31 I do most of the cooking but hubby cooks fried breakfasts on the weekend and if I don't feel like cooking a real dinner, he will make tacos, sloppy joes or whatever - he also does the dishes. I'm one lucky mama - I hate dishes!!

bublz31 I would donate my house now to a charity, everything included! Give EVERYTHING away apart from sentimental items such as my husband and kids ;o) , photos, etc. Then fly back to England, buy new houses for my Mum, Dad and Sisters (and us of course) all near...
