butterfly10954 I think a lot of people fear success because of fear of hurting others. At least that is the case for me. I have made certain decisions in my life that went against the grain of societal norms, that have met w/wide disapproval and excommunication by friends...

How do you know when it's true love?

butterfly10954 I do know a couple who remains good friends to this day in spite of a divorce and they do have children. Speaking for myself, I am not sure, especially since in my situation there is another man in the picture, and he and my ex can not ever accept each other.

butterfly10954 I have done more than my share of drugs in my life, recreational and prescription drugs . The pills were what finally made my life unmanageable and got me into rehab and then recovery. I have found my life without drugs is so much better, i am seeing things so...

butterfly10954 Honesty is the best policy - except when it will hurt someone else or yourself. Then again there are ways of being honest that are less hurtful than others, and you can always ask yourself "Does he really need to know?"

butterfly10954 I am a recovering addict who used opiates for almost 7 years. I have six months clean, and have learned that addiction is not just about what or how much you used but the behaviors, i.e. selfishness, putting your "drug of choice" above families, friends, etc....
