canjo13317 addiction is a terrible beast, raine. when you try to stop, it lets you think you have control so you think you can moderate your behavior. then it takes over once you give in to it. you have to make the beast go away first. thank you for your comment

canjo13317 Thank you so much for your post. I, too, have lost many pets. Some have just passed on their own, others, we have had to make the decision to stop their suffering. It is certainly one of the hardest choices to make in life.
