SViswan Raisins. Soak them in water overnight and mash them in the morning and give the liquid to your son. You might need to do it for a couple of days.

GourdBreaker all i know is that one needs to eat foods rich in fiber as well as fruits to allow bowel movement. or give him yogurt. :)

dramaqn The soap thing is only recommended for older people...at least 13 and up. That's what they used many moons ago. But it does work. As for a little guy, kick up the fiber. Warm apple juice, works really good. And lots of water...you gotta drink lots of water....

nmhschic2004 The only thing that i know of thats good for this is prunes. They say prune juice is even better. But i doubt you will be able to get your two year old to eat prunes or even drink the juice.

onecutehoneybear If your son will eat the peel of an apple that will work too. The peel is coarse which will cause his bowels to move. My daughter hates the peel of the apple but when she hasn't gone in a while I make her eat one so that it will help her go. It really does...

successmode1101 My mother used to have us drink warm water. It has the same reaction as when we drink coffee as an adult. Give him like an almost full glass of warm water . It worked for me and my siblings every time.

AxranraRose82 Buy only high-fiber cereals like all bran or even frosted mini wheats. But milk will make constipation worse. So either go light on the milk or instead of milk, mix the cereal with an apple/prune juice mixture. Applesauce will help. How much milk do you give...

nichole1983 im not sure how long you can store it in the fridge if its unsealed.. im sure the same as any other juice... ruffage things like dates is a good one.. cleans out your system... dates dont taste good at all... and with him being 2 years old might be a good idea...
