cescesc I think you must buy the laptop several years ago.Now it isn't upward compatible. If you want to put a standard memory card into it,you may buy a second-hand memory card.So is the hd. Which interface of your hd are? IDE?

cescesc Hi philip! I would like to suggest you a Chinese movie called Wu Jian Dao.The english name of it is 'I Want to Be You'.It tells a story about inside job of police.Though it maybe a little complicated,but I think it is very wise.

cescesc I have two laptops. Both of the brand of them are Thinkpad(Lenovo). One of them is SL400,it is very cheap and have great power.Another is X200 which is very light and convinient.You can take it everywhere.Also it is ecomize on energy.

cescesc I will prefer to have a laptop.DVD-rom isn't very important now because of the Internet,but if you like to play computer games you'd better choose a laptop with graphics card?

cescesc I prefer Thinkpad Xseries.I have a x200 with intel core2 P8400. It is very convinient. you can just put it in your bag and take it everywhere because it is only 1.5kg.
