cinnleigh Accidents I get, but these women are already trying - that's the part that confuses me. Why? Why not spend some time with the child you just had before planning another one?

cinnleigh I do suppose it's a choice, and 18 months apart really doesn't sound too terribly close, but 11 and twelve months apart does. There are so many issues including milk possibly drying up due to a new pregnancy, not being able to spend as much quality time with...

cinnleigh ? I fully understand why doctors say to wait 9 months or longer. What I don't understand is why so many choose not to listen.

cinnleigh I understand the choice bit, but I also think that babies don't get enough attention and bonding if you already have another baby. Yes, the argument of multiples would come in there but if you think about it, even each baby in a set of multiples might not get...

cinnleigh I guess I just don't understand how people could feel that they're ready again. Medical issues aside, what's wrong with the first baby that you don't want to spend as much time with him/her as possible before moving on to a new one?

cinnleigh I can understand wanting to have kids young, that's why we started young. I still don't see the how it's so smart to go against medical advice and get pregnant again so soon. Having children 18 months apart is still fairly close.

cinnleigh Why would you pressure someone into another child or expect them to just months after having one? Does that mean that the child wasn't good enough for you? My MIL wants another grandbaby but only because she wants a boy. She in no way expect me to have another...

cinnleigh So then why are so many women so eager to pop out another baby right away? Why not wait? I'm just utterly surprised that these women are already TRYING and getting pregnant only 2 months after giving birth.

cinnleigh See, that's how I think. I'm afraid of missing something! How can you enjoy all those cute firsts if you're dealing with pregnancy or another child. Especially with this being my first, I want to enjoy my time with her.

cinnleigh Glad it worked! I originally started trying it because my mom suggested it. She told me that usually whatever helps calm us will probably help calm our babies. I personally love to have a nice, warm, relaxing bath so I imagine our babies do too. :D
