Hi, thanks for your response and sharing your experiences. It's interesting to hear the different reasons why women sometimes need to stop breastfeeding, such as with your daughter getting thrush. I'm not sure yet when I will have to go back to work, but I...

I like to read and also to write poetry that rhymes, but rhyming poetry doesn't seem to be as popular as it used to be (unless you count song lyrics). Do you like to read or write poetry that rhymes? What are your thoughts?

Ok so maybe things could start going wrong in Fred's life. For example if he was a guitar player or something and right before a gig or competition the string on his guitar is cut. No-one knows why and he thinks it's someone from a rival band but then later he...

King David's words are beautiful and inspire faith and hope (even in someone not particulary religious like myself). I love Edgar Allan Poe too, I think he wrote some of the best rhyming poems and due to the emotion he exprsees they are still relevant to...

Thanks for your response. I like both dark and light poems to and I believe it's definitely a good thing to express yourself through poetry when going through difficult times or experiencing strong emotion. I think not all rhyming poetry has to be sweet and...

Thanks for your response! It's good to know I'm not alone in thinking this hehe. I too am not a big fan of haikus. I think some non-rhyming poetry is good but overall I prefer rhyming poetry and think it is better to listen to also. Rhymes seem to give a poem...

Thanks for your response! It's good to know I'm not alone in thinking this hehe! I am not much of a fan of haikus either and think rhymes are useful in giving a poem flow and structure. I don't think I would be very good at writing non-rhyming poetry, it would...

Hi, thanks for your response! I too think rhyming poetry is always interesting and I would prefer listening to rhymed poetry read aloud rather than non-rhyming poetry. But everyone has different taste and there is a lot of good non-rhyming poetry also.

I am really fussy about names and I think if I ever have children it will be almost impossible for me to choose a name. I read recently that names can even determine how happy or sad we are. I am not sure how true this is, but...

Thanks for your response Rashmie! Good point about the Shakespeare quotation, he was right when he wrote ' a rose by any other name would smell as sweet.' I know some people who seem to 'suit' their names and some who don't, but most of the time I don't know...

Hi Carol, thank you and thanks for your response! That does sound like it would be a useful invention, it must be very irritating hanging something up only to find it is in the wrong place!
