clotho9787 ditto here. playing by ear just needs practice. as long as you're not tone deaf, you'll make fast progress. i've been learning to play since kindergarten, when my feet were to small to even reach the pedal...:p that went on til 3rd grade, then i stopped...

clotho9787 well. being concerned bout how she'd feel certainly puts a certain tone on your feelings...in a break-up, no one actually wins, and no one walks away scot-free and feel good afterwards. because you either got hurt or had hurt the person you once loved....

For me it is the "saddest poem" by pablo neruda. It definitely captures the concept of sadness for one's loss of love. It is also my favorite poem. The title is pretty accurate. It hits the spot.
