coeline yes, i have already tried suite101, though I still haven't been approved there. I also tried IM Report Card but they rejected my application coz I am from a country they had a bad experience with.

coeline nope. Not all Asians look alike. There are those chinky-eyed, blue-eyed, tan in color, darker in color of the skin, and there are white... I, for one, have a fair complexion and somewhat chinky eyes. It just depends on your race or origin

coeline I am in the same experience as yours. But so far, what worked for me was to write ads at www.craigslist.com and allow employers to view them, giving them an idea that I am offering my writing services to them. Have you tried that one out?
