I have a friend that Ive known for years but feel like she talks about me behind my back because sometimes I think I only tell her something but all of my other friends seem to find out. What should I do?

I have always wanted a dog, but are they really as much work as people say they are. I would love to have one but am afraid I wont have the time to care for it properly.
