cutegal23in Yes your right.Both occur at the same time but since the speed of sound is less than that of the light u hear thunder after lightning is seen.Usually people dont see the sky during lightning and hence believe that thunder is followed by lightning.

cutegal23in I think its not a good habit to allow our pets to do that bcz its unhygienic n also they might do the same even before we eat.I dnt have dogs but have two cats.I never allow them to do that.They eat only in their bowls.
