ElicBxn I've read some of those writers. They write in the genre of women's or fem lit MOSTLY. I'd rather listen to them than actually read them, because I've only got so much time in my day for actual reading. I'm currently listening to "Sappho's Leap."

ElicBxn I guess I find Asimov too technical for my poor brain. Or that I cut my teeth on Andre Norton (her passing made me very sad) and Heinlein's young people books. Needless to say I've read many books since those days and always learning about new writers.

seamonkey I think overall Iasaac Asimov would probably be my favorite sci fi writer. He put out such a huge, consisent body of work with so many series it's hard not t be impressed. It was a sad day when he died.
