Lyrica helped my fibro, but my brain got fuzzy, so I stopped taking it. I'm taking Gabapentin. It doesn't work as well, but I don't get the fuzzies.

dalelynn21 According to my doctor it's what they used before Lyrica came along. It helps take the edge off for me, but I'm going to talk to the doctor about upping the dose.

dalelynn21 I don't get the fuzzies on the gabapentin. It may affect you differently than it does me, but it's certainly worth a try.

dalelynn21 I am taking 300 mg once a day. I'll talk to my doctor about upping the dose. I haven't tried massage or tapping. Both sound very interesting. Thank you for your input.

dalelynn21 I was on it for a couple of months before I started getting the fuzzies. I am so glad it's working for you.

dalelynn21 You're right, it doesn't matter how old you are if you're mature enough. I've known people much older than you are that are 40 going on 2. They have no sense of resposibility for their actions.
