Help: Installation without installation CD

I had to format my system, so now, I can't find the installation CD for my scanner, so I want to find out if there is something else I can do. Please help me.

darthvader61 You might be able to find the drivers online from the manufacturer's site.

wireless USB adapter in Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty Fawn)

I just try new release of ubuntu, but i can't connect to my local area network using D-Link wireless USB adapter DWL-G122. Please guide me step by step, newbie here

darthvader61 I would say to drop linux, and install windows if you have it. All of that stuff is compatible with windows, and was built to be used with windows. the only ones that will work are the internal adapters.

darthvader61 I find those commercials very dumb and annoying, and I think PCs will always be better than Macs.
