Everything changes so quickly in the world. Computers, the Internet, satellite link-ups to everything, stealth technology...but humanity used to change over centuries, sometimes a thousand years could go by with little change....

Descartes said "I think, therefore I am." (Cogito ergo sum) I would like to sum up my materialist worldview with a correct Latin translation of "I neurotransmit,therefore I am." I believe this would be "Neurotransmitto ergo sum."...
