I have been trying to get information about the Creationist (versus Evolution) argument, but I haven't really gotten much information. I am hoping that someone here can help, I promise this is NOT an attack on anyone's beliefs....

darwinall So what is "evolutionary psych"? Sounds right up my alley, but I don't actually know what it means. I do have an interest in evolutionary philosophy, as my "improvement" on Descartes shows, but I don't think there's actually a field like that.

Descartes said "I think, therefore I am." (Cogito ergo sum) I would like to sum up my materialist worldview with a correct Latin translation of "I neurotransmit,therefore I am." I believe this would be "Neurotransmitto ergo sum."...

darwinall Thanks for responding. While the Romans didn't deal with neuro-transmission, they had the Latin word "transmitto, transmittere, transmittum". ("to carry across"). What I really need is help with the subtlties of translation...to say "transmission took place"...
