Deloric I can't say much about Vista, but switching to a Linux platform would only work if you can live without your windows applications you are used to. You MAY be able to get a few to run under WINE but it's not easy.

Deloric That is interesting, thanks for the heads up. You could also try the free editor called The Gimp, search for the windows port as The Gimp was originally developed for Linux. It is a fairly decent program but not up to Photoshop features.

Deloric I think VB.NET would be an easier language to learn. But it all depends on what you are wanting to do. I think VB has easier syntax, and unless you are wanting a really complex program, most people who say c++ is faster, but I do not think you'd notice...

Deloric There is no "easy or faster" way to earn PED. You have to work for it like anything else. But sweating and walking fror fruit, dung and stones are options. I recently sold 100 Rutol stones in the auction for 30ped, so walking for stones is a good idea...
