Well it has come and gone and I was wondering if anyone else went for broke on presents? I have four children and alot of extended family so Christmas is always "go for broke"

come on be honest, how many of you out there talk to yourselves? i do it on a regular basis, i even make myself laugh(i know this sounds odd),my wife thinks i am mad, but it's all good fun.

devilheart75 I talk to myself all the time. After being around my four year old all day sometimes it is the only adult conversation that I have.

I have no problem with people earning a living overseas, but it is putting real craft workers out of business

devilheart75 I agree with you. What is happening to all the mom and pop stores that this country started on? They are being completely wiped out by little people with big pockets and nothing to do with all the money stuffing those pockets.

devilheart75 I live in South Carolina and I love taking care of my wonderful kids. I am not much of a plant person though. I like soccer,ice hockey(I am originally from NY)also all kinds of arts and crafts.

Warm Bed or cold bed?

do you prefer to get into a warm or cold bed? i prefer a cold bed, if its too warm i can't get to sleep, just wondering if anyone is the same.

devilheart75 I like a warm bed to get into but then I look for the cold spots while I sleep. I guess it's just because my body temp. rises while I sleep. Does any one else look for the cold spots after getting into the warm spots??

devilheart75 Have not even started yet. I am usually done by Thanksgiving.But we recently bought a new house so things are going slower than usual. Si I guess I will be doing the last minute rushing that i generally try and avoid.

devilheart75 That is ok. We used to buy ours as well. But now that my kids are older they like to help. And believe it or not I won't eat store bought pumpkin pie. It just tastes different when it is homemade.

devilheart75 I am on that path I just think maybe I am doing to much. I coach an 8 and under soccer team,church functions school functions. Maybe I just need to go a little slower.

devilheart75 I guess you are right. That is the one thing I am glad of, that I am still able to keep up with them. I have older parents and sometimes it was hard for them with just two.

devilheart75 Thanks for that. I think I am just freakin' out because I already have four kids, and don't get me wrong life is good, but I am just now realizing that I am only 20 years older than my eldest child. It just makes me feel older than I am I guess
