donnay81 My mom was exactly like that and I am the same way. Everyone gets a thorough screening before a puppy would be entrusted to them.

donnay81 I currently have 1 dog. She is a great companion to all in the household. I can't imagine life without pets. They add joy and love to a home. When I was in the 4th grade we had a Pekingese that had a litter of Peke-a-poos. 7 of them. That is a lot of puppies...

donnay81 I found that names are tough. A boy's name was not an issue because I knew that I wanted to name him after my father - Joseph. However, we have so may Joes and Joeys running around in our family, I did not want to call him by the name or derivative of Joseph....
