dschofield Only downloaded a couple of films. Both we'd seen at the cinema and eventually bought on DVD when they came out, but allowed child to watch them at home until they were officially released.

dschofield Sometimes the hard disk fails. This sounds like that has happened :( As above, take it back to the Apple store while its under warranty.

ORACLE software will take tooo much of space to install?

My friend said that at least 4GB is required to install ORACLE. But my system hardisk is around 40GB means that is nothing but C drive. So in that i have installed so many softwares and now remaining space is only 2.75GB only. And...

dschofield Your options are: 1). delete/uninstall things you don't need. Try something like Treesize Free to see where the space is used up. 2). reformat the disk and start again (but you'll lose everything on it already). not much else...
