How can one be Good Teacher?

We hear the people speaking 'good teacher'. But really, what does the good teacher mean or how to become good teacher?

dsumusicman A good teacher is someone who is there for the students and wants to make sure the student succeeds to the best of his/her ability. I think that teachers need to feel an ownership over the knowledge that a student has.

dsumusicman If you go into teaching with the idea of becoming rich, you are in the wrong profession. We are here for the students not for the dollar sign!

dsumusicman I think this is the dumbest idea i have heard. Do we want another terrorist attack to happen and the pilots not being able to do anything about it? Come on think a little more about this idea.
