elbarto What expensive plugins and software? OS X comes with lots of useful software preloaded (iPhoto, iMovie, etc) and I have only purchased one software title for it and I've had it for two years.

elbarto GTA Vice City. Something about that game made it alive. I didn't care for San Andreas, and GTA4 was to short and a horrible port. Star Raiders for the Atari 8-bits was also pretty cool.

elbarto Check the requirements for the games your going to want to play. They will tell you the specs you will need to play them. That should give you a good idea of what you will need.
