ElicBxn These property buyers aren't the same as the 'medical' ones or the 'IRS threatening' ones. My brother was/is a CPA, he does my taxes... so I know that one is a scam!

ElicBxn @kaylachan I know. But often when these things go to a collection agency if the original generator of the bill says it is done, they will remove it. It does help to get to the first collection agency. If it goes to another, then it can get hard to find...

ElicBxn @kaylachan when my wife got her first cell phone, basically the cheapest thing, she was getting collection calls for somebody. Then she got a call that really wasn't a collection call. She called them back and told them she didn't have the phone anymore....
