Do you believe epiphone guitars are built to Gibson standards. Also, in your opionion, what is the best acoustic guitar brand all around and the best bargain brand. I would have to go with Martin and Ibanez.

europebound Best bargain brand I think is Epiphone myself. They sell some really nice guitars in the shops for 200 dollars. Great tone and great look. As for being built to Gibson standards, I really wouldn't know cause I've never owned a Gibson!

europebound I remember it so clearly. My first song I ever learned to play perfectly (although probably not the right speed) was I, The Throw Away by Matthew Good Band. It's just like arpeggiated chords but the chorus sounds really cool, even playing it now.
