eyebee If I remember correctly the first programme that was transmitted on Channel 4 was Countdown with the late Richard Whiteley. That itself was from a French TV programme from the 1960's.

eyebee I use my Blackberry in much the same way that you describe. Twitter, and web pages, looking up local places, getting routes etc. I use about 70-80 minutes a month on calls, and most of that is incoming.

eyebee I've just joined MyLot really for the community aspect. Although I won't turn down some extra money, to sit here for any length of time just to earn one dollar in a whole day is a little crazy.

I just bought some older cd's to listen to in the car. We always listen to music while riding but the cd.s sound so much better than the radio. And of course it has to be loud!

eyebee I hear you there. We have around 30 stations here in town, but there are one or two that do play a good variety of music, and not like the average Clear Channel stations that seem to have a three hour playlist. It's the exception though rather than the rule!

This debut album for this young lady from North Wales contained some great tunes. Very soulful and reminiscent of Dusty Springfield too.
