I enjoy my alone time, really I do, but I've had enough for now. My husband and kids went to his parents' place Wednesday after lunch and they are still gone. They are coming home today sometime and I'm ready for them to be back....

Shannon It was nice to have them back and the kids even didn't start fighting right away. I missed them, but I enjoyed not having to hear them bicker for two days.

Shannon I enjoy some alone time, especially when everyone is home because it is so hard to come by. That much alone time gets lonely though.

Shannon It was weird without them but I did enjoy not having to listen to them fight. I did miss them much of the time, but I think I missed hugging them goodnight the most.

Shannon I tried to enjoy my time, but it did get lonely. Even my dog was lonely for the rest of the family. Every time she heard a noise outside she would race to the door, even more than normal.

Shannon I usually have the radio on when I'm home regardless of whether there are other people here or not. I just don't like silence. I tried to enjoy my time, but I did miss them too.

Shannon I'm hoping to teach my kids enough about money that they avoid the mistakes we made when we were younger. We're still paying for some of those mistakes (though we have managed to pay off a few of them) and the college loans will be with me for years.
