Do you think it's silly to name your pet after a real persons name?

Our dogs name is "Ike"...which is also a real person name. What about your pets, what are their names? Is it silly to name them after a real person? I think it's cute..

feenixz As long as you live in a free country you can name animals as you like. Well i wouldnt call a dog or cat in real peoples names, coz i have respect for us people, Although i love animals and they deserve to be loved, but deserve they own names - animal origin...
