This morning, I felt good enough to go to church, and was really glad I went. A little ten year old girl got up to sing a song in front of the church, and she wanted to share everything she was thankful for. A 14 year old got up...

George B Vieto (@deepizzaguy) writes good news stories here and when the story concerns wildlife, it is often mentioned that wildlife are losing much of their natural habitat.

I wrote about Berinbooding Rock recently. The granite slabs for the walls were formed by lighting a big fire on the surface of the rock. This was allowed to burn all night. When water was poured on the rock next morning the...

About a week ago we went to a concert put on by the Darling Range Wind Ensemble in Western Australia. The theme was ‘Disney’ and many of the performers dressed up as Disney characters. Maybe some were just cartoon characters but...

We haven’t decided yet…..and we have 30 minutes to decide.
I will say no to KFC as we have the Grandkids this weekend and no doubt they will...

I just stumbled on this photo from about ten years ago. It's the view from the car on the way from Austria into Germany. I was visiting a musician friend who grew up in the US but settled in Austria. The mountains in the photo are...

I'm a little old to be realizing this, but nothing in life stays the same.
Not health, wealth, or relationships.
Sometimes in our early adult years, life gets a little predictable and we don't think about change.
They seem to...

I’m leaving in one week for the cruise! My main excitement is getting out of this cr@ppy apartment, getting cooler weather, and cruise food. Of course, it will be nice to see Maine and Canada (my body limits me on where I can go)....

I didn't watch it yesterday. I didn't seek it out. That's just not the kind of thing that I need to have in my brain. I have a couple of regulars who visit me when I'm on bathroom duty. They did it...
