My fiance and I have been together for 9 years and seen our share of troubles but conquered them(so far).As you know the statistics are against us but I think it will work

flowerchild22 My husband and I have been together for 13 1/2 years, married for 11. We too have had the odds against us, especially since we have been together since we were 16 and married at 18. People give up too easy these days. the best of luck to you both!

flowerchild22 Never. Do the vows that people take during their marriage ceremony mean nothing anymore. Instead of in sickness and in health maybe it should read, or until you get bored with eachother. It is sad that marriage is taken so lightly these days.

flowerchild22 I don't think that he needs details, but that was a relationship that helped you grow to who you are. I have been lucky and my partner is my first love, so I am not to experienced, but nothing good can come of secrets and lies.
