foxybrown by the way, may i just add....according to my dog trainer, bassets are basically stubborn and hard to teach new tricks for some reason.

i have a female basset hound and her name is Martha. they say basset hounds are child-friendly like Labrador retrievers, but Martha just have these moods swings and almost bit my 6-y.o. niece! my initial reaction was to hit Martha...

foxybrown Martha almost bit my fiance on his face while hugging her. since that day we sent her out to the garage. if ever the day comes that she bites really deep, though just the thought of it pains me, we'll give her away. :(
