The holidays, not always a joyous occassion

Does anybody else find the holidays with an autistic child a bit fustrating? Growing up we always looked forward to holidays and birthdays. I had always thought I would see that joy and excitement through the eyes of my children....

fozalgerts No you are not alone. Our son still does not care about holidays and he is now 20 years old. He usually hangs out in another part of the house during this time and watches his favorite movies. Here is why I think he does it. ..He cannot stand all the noise and...
