Can't formatmemory card, please help

I have a 512MB(MCC) memory card which is not detected by my mobile phone. I can access it in my PC using a card reader and can play media files in it. But can't format it. Delete, copy and cut (to or from) option also not work....

freezeover98 check to see if theres a "Lock" switch on the side. I had that problem with my SD card for my camera, and put a piece of tape over the switch to hold it in place. Works fine now. :-p
