Why do young childen scream and cry when getting new shoes.

I ask because I don't know. In the mall where I work at, right across the hall, actually is a kids shoe store, and everyday-all day I can hear is kids screaming bloody murder. Young kids too. I know my son, neice and nefew NEVER...

I guess this is another rant, but it just happened here at work and I have to get it off of my chest so that I can plaster that fake smile back on my face and 'sell-sell-sell!'. Anyway it is a very slow day today here in the mall...
