I think Mig-25 is the fastest fighter jet in the world..which goes to a speed of mach 3.2(

fulcrum_shift The Mig-25 is not in production .. the Mig-31 is in production which is based on the Mig-25 but is completly different in terms of avionics , airframe composition , ........ The Mig-25 flew only once at 3.2M by an iraqi pilot who streaked past US forces...
