suny @gerardoriar Travel to Shimla by train, that 90 km takes more than 6 hours. I prefer Shivalik Express from Kalka (near Chandigarh). You will never forget that journey through 104 long and small tunnels for rest of your life.

Always smiling Summer is a good time here but quite warm if you are not used to it. Also India is a huge country. I would suggest Goa which has many beaches. A month would just go by if you love the sea and some spicy food.
