how to convert old VHS home movies to DVD?

I have some precious home movies I took in the 90's. Does anyone know how I can convert them? One of my tapes is already wearing thin.

giorgh Hi, i have a card tv in the pc thereofore i do in this way, attack the vcr to the pc then use the program "ulead video studio" and i convertthem in dvd. ^^

I like browsing internet.. sometime I use internet explorer and sometime other I use mozilla firefox. I enjoy use both. I don't know different function of both or where is better.. in anyway I just user.

giorgh Hi, i prefer mozilla and the bes, when i used IE virus they always entered me, then from when i use mozilla they don't enter me more viruses.

giorgh Hi, i use kaspersky antivirus, is a good program, stop yourself any attack! only fault is that it asks for a lot of risorses. ^^

giorgh Hi, test "dvd shrink" or "dvd decripter" i am two good programm for ripp. I recommend more you "dvd shrink" because a dvd from 8gb you the salute in one from 4gb. ^^
